Exploring Jaffa Through a Feminist Lens

Last week, PKI’s women’s groups from Haifa and Ramat Gan braved the cold and wind to embark on insightful study tours of Jaffa, guided by renowned experts Gali Benin and Zeev Volk. For these women—new immigrants to Israel—the experience was more than just an excursion. It was a chance to deepen their connection to their new home country, build professional and personal networks, and engage with Jaffa’s rich and ancient history through a feminist lens.

Focusing on women’s career development and equality, the tours provided an inspiring perspective on Jaffa’s past and present, empowering participants as they navigate their new lives in Israel.
