Supporting Women Who Have Recently Immigrated to Israel
Amidst the pervasive fears and traumas that continue to affect Israel, PKI held an emotional support session for women who have recently immigrated and need support navigating their new country during a time of high stress and uncertainty. Unlike many immigrants to Israel who prepare by learning Hebrew and creating an employment strategy, these immigrants arrived under additional duress, having escaped war zones.
Led by trauma specialist and coach Yulia Zatulovsky, the hybrid event created a forum for participants to discuss how the climate within the country was affecting their personal and professional lives. The session explored both practical techniques for managing ongoing stress and fostering healthy connections.
Feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing newfound clarity and confidence in their ability to build stronger relationships at home and in the workplace. The session further helped empower Israel’s immigrant communities that continue to contribute to the country’s diverse civil society.
