Facilitating Cultural and Historic Journeys Across Israel
PKI recently sponsored another round of cultural tours for its network members. It facilitated an exploration of the Petah Tikva Museum Complex, which includes the Museum of Modern Art, the Yad Lebanim Museum and the Petah Tikva History Museum. Led by artist and designer Anna Keisar, the group delved into contemporary exhibitions and the historical roots of the city, engaging in thoughtful discussions about art, culture and tradition. Women from various cities in central Israel gathered for this inspiring experience, engaging in an important dialogue about honoring the past while navigating the present.
PKI members also toured the ancient city of Jaffa, viewing their surroundings through the lens of women’s experiences. Led by guide Gali Benin, participants explored the locations where bold decisions were made and change began to take root in Israel. From repatriation to fashion, from independence to leadership, the tour unveiled how generations of women have shaped Israeli society, business, culture and politics—demonstrating that one courageous idea can transform countless lives.
These tours continue to expand opportunities for those who’ve recently made aliya to become more deeply familiar with Israel and further integrate into the fabric of the country.
