Meet Nadiia Sadirova, Project Kesher Ukraine’s Graphic Designer & Illustrator

For Ukrainian graphic designer and illustrator Nadiia Sadirova, creativity has always meant freedom to explore. Early in her career, she was advised to choose a single artistic niche, but that never felt like the right path. Partnering with Project Kesher Ukraine (PKU) offered Nadiia a chance to bring her full range of talents to purpose-led work, spanning social media campaigns, printed materials and public events. Working closely with PKU staff, she’s succeeded in translating the organization’s bold ideas into compelling storytelling.

According to Nadiia, “This is work that’s open to creative expression. I get to be imaginative or read something meaningful while simultaneously laying it out visually,” she explains. For Nadiia, design is more than aesthetics, it’s a tool for change.

Outside of work, Nadiia and her close friends regularly gather to make bouquets, attend the theater, or paint—meetups that often turn into deep conversations about womanhood, work and identity. “Being part of social initiatives helps me feel like I’m making an impact—like I’m helping change the world for the better,” she says. “I dream of a time when the stories that hurt women now will be nothing more than tales of the past—or a legendary epic about a path to transformation.” Through her work with Project Kesher Ukraine, she’s helping to write that new story.
