The Wisdom of Proverbs in Modiin

At the Modiin branch of PKI, educator Sofia Akselrod guided participants into the fascinating world of Jewish proverbs. In an interactive session celebrating the group’s two-year anniversary, attendees delved into the history, structure and meaning of these timeless expressions of wisdom, while also crafting their own parables. Everyday objects transformed into symbols of deeper truths and the session became a celebration of language, storytelling and creativity. It was an evening filled with learning, laughter and an appreciation for the enduring power of words.
